Echoes of Freedom’s Call – POEM

In the heart of Bharat a flame did rise
A beacon of hope beneath starlit skies.
Chained by tyrants our land did weep
Yet in her soul brave dreams did sleep.

From shores of Bengal to Punjab’s land
Freedom’s fire spread hand to hand.
Netaji Subhas led with a fearless stand
Lokmanya Tilak’s voice stirred the rebel band.

Brave Bhagat Singh with his courage strong
Sang of freedom in death’s song.
Rani Lakshmibai’s sword held high
Fought for honour and was ready to die.

Tilak roared, “Freedom is our birthright,”
And Bose, the storm that dared the fight.
Matangini’s blood did stain the earth
For in her death India found rebirth.

The Dandi March and Quit India’s cry
Told the world we would rise high.
Through prisons dark and gallows’ rope
They fueled our hearts with endless hope.

From mountains tall to ocean’s shore
Blood was shed to end the war.
Men and women stood unbowed
For a future that they vowed.

Their sacrifice a timeless tale,
For in their loss we did prevail.
Today we stand in freedom’s grace
Because of those who took our place.

So let their echoes ever ring
In every heart let freedom sing.
For their blood and tears, we owe this day
To live in freedom come what may.
