Arunachal Bhavan needed in Vellore, Mumbai

A new Arunachal Bhavan was inaugurated in Tinsukia (Assam) on Wednesday by Chief Minister Pema Khandu. The bhavan is expected to benefit people of the state, especially from eastern Arunachal, who visit Tinsukia for medical and other purposes. The chief minister informed that new bhavans have been established in Dibrugarh, Tezpur, Guwahati, and Bodh Gaya in Bihar, and that a new Arunachal Bhavan is coming up in Dwarka in Delhi. These are praiseworthy steps initiated by the Government of Arunachal.

Similar steps are needed for construction of an Arunachal bhavan in Vellore in Tamil Nadu. Every year, thousands of people from state go to CMC Vellore for medical treatment. Due to the absence of an Arunachal Bhavan, the people of the state face a lot of trouble. Already land has been acquired but construction of a bhavan has not been initiated till now. The state government should take steps for construction of a bhavan in Vellore on priority. This will immensely benefit the people. The state government also needs to look into the Arunachal Bhavan issue in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The lack of a proper bhavan and the absence of any state government officials in Mumbai is a serious concern. The Mumbai bhavan can play a crucial role in helping cancer patients who go to the Tata Memorial Hospital for treatment. Further, it can help to promote Arunachal as a tourism destination in the financial capital of India.
