Editor,
With the completion of the APSSB CGL exams, many opined that the paper was a walk in the park, and the APSSB upgrades need to level up the questions asked.
Let me ask you: if the paper was that easy, did you qualify? Most answers would be a big NO! The response “The paper was easy, but I couldn’t qualify” would likely be common. I can’t find the logic here.
The questions set were of a quality standard, and I urge the commission not to upgrade them for a few years, as many APSSB aspirants come from academically and financially disadvantaged backgrounds and prepare only for Group C exams. Our state is still developing in the field of education, and many candidates may struggle with SSC-level questions. The commission is being helpful, and the paper setters are experienced and understand our state’s context.
I genuinely urge the aspirants who are calling for an upgrade of the questions-if the paper was a cakewalk-please prepare for Group A and B examinations and leave Group C and D jobs for academically weaker aspirants like us.
