Release PGT exam advertisement

Editor,

Through this esteemed daily, we make this final appeal to the APPSC for early release of the PGT exam advertisement.

June is halfway over, but the APPSC has given no update on the PGT exam, tentatively scheduled for June, 2025. Out of desperation, many of us have visited the office in this scorching summer heat, only to be greeted with angry faces at the reception, repeating the same unhelpful and vague response: “Website check karte raho.”

For how long should we keep checking the website? How many more months or years must we refresh empty web pages before you take our plight seriously? We have shown extraordinary patience, but there comes a point when patience turns to frustration, and frustration to outrage. When polite requests and queries yield no results, what alternatives remain? Should we assemble outside the APPSC headquarters with protest placards? Should we invite media scrutiny to expose how the PGT aspirants are being treated?

We have waited with patience, but now our perseverance is wearing thin and the continued neglect of our concerns is pushing us towards desperation. This is our last cry for help. We don’t want special favours. We just want the notification that was promised in your official annual examination calendar. At least tell us clearly – will the exam happen or not? If yes, when? If no, why are you playing with our future?
