NIRJULI, 10 Jan: Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV) Nirjuli organised a National Youth Day 2026 outreach programme on 9 January at New Galaxy School here to honour the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, which is on 12 January, and to celebrate the Samarth Bharat Parva.
The celebration aimed to inspire the young minds with Swami Vivekananda’s ideas and philosophy, serving as a guiding force for the youths and encouraging their efforts towards national development.
More than 600 students and teaching staffs, besides parents and well-wishers of both schools attended the programme.
VKV students performed various programmes, such as Vivekanda’s message by students, speech by students, patriotic songs, mangalacharana, and group dance, showcasing the diverse cultural heritage of Arunachal.
Former APSCW chairperson Radhelu Chai Techi and VKV Nirjuli primary section in-charge Jisha Shiji Kunar spoke on the occasion.
