TEZU, Aug 5: The dismal performance of students in the recent CBSE/AISSCE examinations and its probable causes; the menace of drugs and alcohol; and internet addiction and its long-term social and legal implications were some of the topics discussed during a two-day awareness camp organized by the Cultural and Literary Society of Mishmis (CALSOM) at Sunpura and Loiliang in Lohit district on 4 and 5 August, respectively.
Resource persons from the fields of education, health, law and social service participated in the programme and threw light on various social maladies afflicting the Mishmi society.
The awareness programme was attended GBs, former PRI members, self-help group members, and students of the VKV and government schools in Sunpura circle.
