ITANAGAR, Aug 8: Local MLA Techi Kaso on Wednesday inspected the upgraded Middle School at Power House Colony at E Sector here and discussed various issues related to development of the school with the school management committee and colony development committee.
Being learnt that the school needs additional classrooms to accommodate the growing number of students, Kaso asked the SMC to immediately start the construction of three SPT classrooms. He said that the fund required will be provided from his Local Area Development fund.
The present strength of students of the school is around 120. The school has also started the class VIII from this year.
Later, the MLA inspected the approach road in the forest colony and boundary wall of the Indira Gandhi Park near the Science Centre and APEDA office. He assured additional cement footpath in the colony.
Former IMC councillor Tagru Tadik, forest colony welfare committee president Danik Tagi, and SMC members were present during the inspection.
