ITANAGAR, Sep 15: The Arunachal Pradesh Information Commission (APIC) has imposed a penalty of Rs 25,000 on Papum Pare District Panchayat Development Officer (DPDO) JT Toko for deliberately defying the commission’s order in connection with the appeal (Case No APIC-214/2018) made by appellant Teli Sahil.
The commission has directed the DPDO, who is also the public information officer, to deposit the penalty amount on or before October 10, and to appear before the commission “on the same date and time, along with the deposited copy of the treasury challan and information as sought for by the appellant.”
