SEPPA, Sep 19: A farmer-scientist interaction programme was organized by the department of agriculture, under ATMA scheme at KVK, Pampoli under East Kameng district on 18 September.
The farmers were educated on mushroom cultivation, integrated livestock (goat)-fish farming, soil fertility management for vegetable, nursery management of vegetables, livestock management, etc.
The resource persons were Md JU Bahar, Deputy Director (In-charge) of Agriculture and subject matter specialists of the KVK.
The interaction programme was attended by 36 farmers from Pampoli, Jayanti and Wessang.
