JANG, Jan 15: Over 400 Border Roads Organisation (BRO) workers from the GREF’s 90 RCC who are registered with the Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (APB&OCWWB) benefitted from a health camp organised here in Tawang district on Tuesday by the board in collaboration with the BRO Labourers’ Union (BROLU).
Labourers from high-altitude areas like Sela also benefitted from the camp.
The 90 RCC’s 2 IC, RC Meena, who inaugurated the camp, commended the organisers, and lauded the labourers for their yeomen service to the nation.
“Labourers are the backbone of the nation’s development. Healthcare and personal hygiene are a must, and one must take serious note of it,” Meena said.
APB&OCWWB Registering Officer Phurpa Tsering enumerated the statutory and non-statutory benefits being provided by the board to registered workers.
SMO Dr Thutan Lhamu from the Jang CHC and Dr Manu from the 90 RCC conducted the camp.
