AALO, Jan 16: House-to-house screening of tuberculosis (TB) symptoms under ‘Active TB case finding’ is underway at Aalo town, Kamba, Kaying and Yomcha from 15 to 30 January.
The screening is being conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh State Health Society, Directorate of health Services, GoAP and District Health Society (RNTCP) of West Siang, under the aegis of Revised National TB Control Programme, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
A medical team led by District TB Officer Dr Karmar Dirchi along with the RNTCP staff and ANM students are carrying out the house-to-house screening, informed a release from West Siang DMO.
