NAHARLAGUN, Jan 16: A 100 days MSME campaign -support and outreach mega camp was held at the Department of Art and Culture ground, here on Wednesday.
During the camp, 37 sanctioned Mudra Loan under various categories, yarns to 25 weavers under CMITPS, 5 pehchaan cards, 5 yarn passbooks and 20 weaver’s participation certificates were distributed to the beneficiaries.
Among the officials who attended the camp were Joint Secretary Telecom, GoI, and Nodal Officer Papum Pare for MSME Support and Outreach Program Amit Yadav, Director Weavers Service Centre, Guwahati, S Bandhopdhayay, S Rajkumar, DGM NHDC, Director Textile and Handicraft, GoAP, H Dodung and Papum Pare DC Joram Beda, who discussed with bank officials on Mudra loan performance, their targets and achievements.
Various facilities for Mudra loan, free health check-up, new account opening, GST registration, PAN card, CMAAY, Adhaar, ST, PRC forms, Udyog Adhaar registration, PMJDY, PMJJY, PMJSY, PMSBY, learner’s licence, Pehchaan card and yarn passbooks were availed by the people.
Line departments like Transport, IPR, Planning, Jan Suvidha, Tax and Excise, ARCS,EPF, GST & Excise, SGST,Common Service Centre, Weaver’s Service Centre, Guwahati, APRB-RSETIalso participated in the camp.
Public sector banks such as SBI, including all private banks, APRB, the Apex Bank conducted financial literacy service on various government flagships schemes.
Alongside the mega camp, a five-day long district-level event of Hastkala Sahyog Shivir and felicitation programme under 100 days MSME support and outreach programme organised by Weaver’s Service Centre, Guwahati in association with National Handloom Development Corporation Ltd also began the same day at the same venue.
Various self help groups and weavers are participating in the exhibition cum sale of exquisite handloom products which will culminate on 21 January. (DIPRO)
