ITANAGAR, Mar 6: Alleging ‘misgovernance’ a conglomeration of six organizations demanded immediate resignation of Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein and Forest Minister Nabam Rebia.
The All Arunachal Pradesh Youth Organisation, the All Arunachal Motor Transport Federation, the Arunachal Students’ Federation, the Arunachal People’s Front, the All Capital Complex Government Registered Contractor Organisation and AMYO in a joint letter to BJP president Amit Shah and BJP NE in-charge Ram Madhav held the minister trio responsible for PRC episode which led to the loss of live and mass destruction of public and private properties.
The organizations said that the recent PRC issue erupted out of no-issue. They said that the PRC issue has no public interest and it has been forced only from selfish political agenda.
‘The PRC issue has further created a fear psychosis among the major indigenous communities of the state and it is directed towards ethnic cleansing by pushing non-indigenous people policy,’ the organizations claimed.
‘Taking into account the over all situation in the state, the conglomerations of public organisations would like to convey your leadership that, the people of Arunachal Pradesh genuinely feel that further continuance of Pema Khandu and Mein as a state leadership of your party is a threat to indigenous people’, the organization wrote in their joint letter.
