DAPORIJO, Nov 15: Around 150 people were screened for diabetes during a day-long screening camp for diabetes being organised by District Health Society (NPCDCS), Daporijo on the eve of ‘World Diabetes Day’ at PHC Baririjo on Tuesday last.
During the camp, PHC Baririjo MO i/c, Dr. Y. Bulo spoke on the theme of the Day ‘Women and Diabetes: right to a healthy lifestyle’.
BMI measurement, RBS reading, blood pressure measurement and counselling session were also held for the people.
