We would like to know through your esteemed daily about the details of registration of Class-V contractors under Arunachal Pradesh District Based Entrepreneurs & Professional Act. 2015.
The issue “ The Arunachal Information” Vol-IV, Issue-7 of Friday April 24, 2015 by IPR, Naharlagun has clearly written that —‘ It may be highlighted that government has allowed all the graduates/ engineers/diploma holders to be registered as Class-V Contractors without any experiences facilitating unemployed youth to start their own business venture’.
Based on this information, some unemployed youths with all the required documents tried to submit/enlist ourselves as class-V contractor, but we were told that we are not from technical background.
We were also told that graduates from art or commerce are not allowed to enlist as contractor.
So it is our earnest request to the concerned authorities to clarify the details through this daily whether arts and commerce graduates are eligible or not under Act to participate in the govt. developmental activities.
