PASIGHAT, Oct 29: The Women Against Social Evil (WASE) submitted a report on drug trafficking in East Siang district on October 23 last to offices of the DIG of Police (Central Range), Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police.
The report included information regarding drug abuse, trafficking, names of drug peddlers and their contact details, routes of drug transportation in East Siang and types of drugs supplied by the traffickers, along with some video evidences.
Meanwhile, on October 26, the Forest Department of East Siang district awarded Rs 10,000 to the WASE for seizing a Tokey Gecko (lizard) and elephant tusk from Pasighat.
