ITANAGAR, Nov 17: Governor Dr. BD Mishra on Thursday visited Jawaharlal Nehru State Museum, where he inquisitively went through the details of every display.
The Governor commended the officers of the State Research Department for the high upkeep and management standards of the museum.
A decorated army officer himself, the Governor suggested that some youth motivating military hardware could also be displayed at the museum for which, he consented to help the Museum authorities in its procurement from the Indian Armed Forces.
Earlier, the team of officers led by Director Research Batem Pertin briefed the Governor on various artefacts and theme depictions displayed at the museum.
Later, the Governor visited the Southern Gate of Itafort and suggested that the remnant of historical fort must be maintained properly.
