Society demands investigation into Pinch’s death

ITANAGAR, Nov 21: The Achi Dopum Welfare Society (ADWS) has alleged foul play in the sudden and unnatural demise of former MLA, Ngurang Pinch on November 18 last and demanded an inquiry into his death.
In a press release, the ADWS said that upon preliminary enquiry, the family and clan members have concluded that the death of late Pinch is not incidental, but a well-executed pre-planned murder, involving powerful and politically influential persons.
Claiming that evidences may have been tampered with or may be tampered with in the future, the Society asked for a free and fair inquiry at the earliest.
The Society also alleged that the accompanying team members’ statements and depositions have been constantly providing contradictory statements to the family and clan members.
