An employee of Power department asked me for Chai Pani money for shifting the overhead HTL/LTL line passing beside my Building premises due to Highway 4 Lane Construction works.
I asked him why money is being asked and whether it was not part of their duty to perform the task and what benefit I do get whether the line passes above or below me? At this, the man said he has been waiting for me so long for the de-installation works. It seems now I got to know why the Electric Pole which was to be shifted by September End is still kept pending. All the compensation due to the PHED & Power Department has been given and it is duty bound on the departments to immediately shift the structures paving way for 4 Lane Highway.
I shall also suggest for shifting of the electric pole directly to centre of the road which shall function as divider which will save time and cost escalation instead of doing the same thing twice.
