A Suggestion for commission

Dear Editor,
The recent civil service preliminary exam conducted by the commission has received mixed responses from the aspirants particularly for the optional paper. Aspirants are agitated that some optional paper were easier than others which is amounting to violation of equal opportunity and that some questions were copy pasted and also there were errors in the questions as well. It seems the aspirants had expected a lot from the commission in terms of quality of the question paper.
Looking at the present case scenario, as an aspirant my suggestion to commission would be to do away with the optional paper in prelims, change their syllabus pattern and follow the UPSC pattern i.e introduction of CSAT, in that way candidates can prepare for both UPSC and APCS in one go and it would be an win win situation both for the candidates as well as the commission and no of state candidates going for UPSC would increase.
