SANGDUPOTA, Nov 29: Expressing concern over the inordinate delay in execution of Gohpur to Jote road, undertaken by one M/s N T Agency, the All Papum Poma Students’ Union (APPSU) has appealed to the PWD, Doimukh Division, Executive Engineer (EE) to direct the firm’s owner to execute the said work soon for the larger interest of the people of Sangdupota circle.
In a representation to the EE on Wednesday, the Union informed that the Gohpur to Jote road serves as a lifeline to the people residing at Sangdupota circle and the inordinate delay in execution of the same is creating much hardship for the people of the area.
It further threatened to resort to democratic action in case the road construction work does not commence soon.
