ITANAGAR, Jan 23: Governor Dr BD Mishra has appealed to the residents of Lower Niti Vihar area to make it a habit to keep their surroundings clean.
Continuing his ‘Clean Itanagar’ mission, the governor along with Raj Bhavan officials participated in a cleanliness drive in Lower Niti Vihar on 23 January. He advised ward councillors to convince the senior residents to teach their children to be part of the ‘Clean Itanagar’ mission.
The governor also advised the proprietors of business establishments to keep their premises clean, and emphasized on waste disposal and installing dustbins in front of shops and housing complexes.
GA Secretary Azimul Haque and IGP Nabin Payeng, along with women from Dia Dasa SHG, officials and workers of the Itanagar Municipal Council led by ward councillor Donik Tayu, and other volunteers enthusiastically participated in the cleanliness drive. (PRO to Governor)
