ITANAGAR, Feb 5: The Capital Complex district administration has issued an order restricting vehicular traffic between Naharlagun and Itanagar via Papu Nallah from 4 am to 10 am on 6 February, in view of restoration work being carried out on the road near Bucho Motors by the Highway department.
Commuters to and from Itanagar and Naharlagun have been directed to use the Naharlagun-Jully-Itanagar road during the period, as a portion of NH 415 near Bucho Motors has been damaged because of earth-cutting work carried out there by the department.
‘The Highway authorities are working on a war footing to restore the portion of the road, and it is expedient to restrict entry of vehicles to avoid public inconvenience,’ DC in-charge Talom Dupak stated in the order. (DIPRO)
