Revive health insurance scheme

Dear Editor,
The ambitious APCMUIS (Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Universal Health Insurance Scheme) was launched on 20th February 2014 by the then Nabam Tuki led Government whose Bio Metric Smart Card was activated on 16th Sept,2015 and immediately its total enrolment had reached to 2,23,761 families getting Rs.2 lakhs free medical treatment per head with package system against empanelled hospital. Practically many benefitted from it; however there was also some demerit in the said scheme.
The Government Order No.FIN/MR/10/7/2013,dated 3rd Nov’2015 which stopped entire Medical Reimbursement and Medical Advance of state govt. employees due to implementation of APCMUIS in the state has not been revoked yet by the present State Government. Now the State Govt. employee are neither availing any medical Reimbursement & Medical Advance nor APCMUIS is functioning therefore since last one year employee are practically facing untold suffering.
Considering the situation, I would like to appeal State Government to make this scheme more effective by immediately reviving it so that people of Arunachal can take maximum benefit from APCMUIS.
Yours,
