ITANAGAR, Mar 5: The state unit of National People’s Party (NPP) congratulated NPP president and MP Conrad K Sangma for victory in the Meghalaya assembly election.
Stating that NPP-led alliance was also set to form government in Meghalaya, the Arunachal Pradesh unit of the party has exuded confidence that Sangma will ably lead the coalition government for all round development of the state.
The state NPP also congratulated Neiphiu Rio for the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party’s victory in assembly election in Nagaland.
Meanwhile, state NPP president Gicho Kabak, vice presidents Nima Sangey Saling and Anok Wangsa (former Minister) left for Shillong to attend the oath-taking ceremony of Conrad K Sangma as Chief Minister and his council of ministers of Meghalaya.
