How pleasant it will be to walk under the shade of trees on a hot, sunny and high-humid day. I Feel relaxed passing through the very short stretch of tree shades near success point Naharlagun, feels comfortable walking under the rain tree near NERIST gate. Trees, shrubs & herbs not only provide shade, it also absorbs dust particles, reduce air pollution, gives aesthetic beauty, control soil erosion.
Roadside or avenue planting is required once the highway/road is demarcated. My request to the Forest department, Horticulture department, the Pollution control board, planning department and to every citizen to begin planting.
