The recent initiative of the APPSC inviting application for various recruitment exams through online is highly
laudable and need of the hour.
This step is very much in sync with the “digital India campaign” of the state and centre govt.
It has greatly simplified the process of applying for various advertised posts and made it hassle free. With this move, the students living outside the state and far flung districts of the state will be immensely benefited as travel time and expenses to collect forms from the office and all will be saved in the present format.
Also, the chances of forms rejection for silly mistakes in filling the forms will be completely ruled out and the aspirants will be spared of nightmarish experience of getting rejected for the competition in the last moment.
Kudos to the incumbent APPSC chairman and his team for taking another progressive step in streamlining the system for citizens’ convenience and better service delivery.
Hope this is just the tip of the ice berg under the current chairman and many more such reforms are in the offing to make the commission a model recruiting body with the utmost transparency and credibility.
