ITANAGAR, Mar 28: Alleging that contract work has been awarded to a contractor by the Seppa Electrical Division, Department of Power without officially floating tender, the All Bameng, Khenewa & Lada Students’ Union (ABKLSU) has in a complaint to the deputy commissioner on Monday, urged him to direct the EE (Electrical), Seppa Division to issue notice inviting tender (NIT) and demand for reconsideration of the work.
The union claimed that the contract work for repairing , testing and commissioning of 33 KV line, 11 KV line, LT line & DTs in between Seppa and Pakke under Bameng Electrical Sub-division, amounting to Rs 60 lakhs was awarded to a contractor without the concern department issuing an NIT, in complete violation of norms.
