ABKLSU demands full-fledged admin officers

ITANAGAR, Mar 28: The All Bameng Khenewa and Lada Students’ Union (ABKLSU) has demanded posting of full-fledged ADC at Bameng sub-division, and full-fledged circle officers for Khenewa and Lada circles for administrative convenience.
Highlighting the public grievances of the three circles, the ABKLSU in a representation to the East Kameng deputy commissioner, said that Bameng sub-division is running by an in-charge ADC resulting in poor performance. Moreover, in absence of regular COs, the administrative works of both Khenewa and Lada circles are being hampered.
Other demands of the Union includes construction of new hostel building, new playground, entry gate, library, and dining hall facility at KGBV Bameng; posting of regular headmaster at government secondary school, Bameng; posting of non-tribal teachers; construction of new teachers’ quarter along with sufficient infrastructure at government primary school of Upper Liyak.
The union also highlighted various problems faced by the people of Khenewa and Lada circles and demanded immediate steps for their solution.
