Exams and revolving dates

Dear Editor,
I am writing this to request to prevent further postponement of UPO/AE(Civil) exam conducted by APPSC beyond 10th of June 2018 on behalf of aspiring candidates of Arunachal Pradesh who are on the border line of age limit for appearing in the forthcoming exam.?
After advertisement of the vacancy and filling up of forms in the year 2017 ample time was made available to the aspirants be the fresher’s/final semester or old graduates to prepare well for this exam.
After the last date of submission of application forms for the said exam, 6 to 7 months time was given beforehand for any aspirant to prepare for the said exam and now the date has been notified by the commission. Every now and then there is request for extension of date from some section of student bodies/organizations for the exam to which the commission just gives in and notifies a new date.
Abruptly changing the dates not only hampers the mental level of preparation and also makes many of us no more eligible for the exam as our age goes beyond the date of exam. ?
Engineers working outside the state in private companies have with much difficulty managed the leaves to travel to home state for the exam. I humbly request APPSC to kindly forbid any further extension of date for exam beyond 10th of June 2018. Students who have been preparing honestly should respect the decision of the commission.
And for the newly graduates/final semester students, they will have many opportunities later whereas we who are crossing the age limit with each passing day will have to give up the dream of working in one’s own state and lead to outsourcing of educated, hard working and dedicated engineers.
Yours,
An Aspirant
