ITANAGAR, Apr 27: Capital MLA Techi Kaso along with the PRI members and IMC councillor on Friday visited several parts of Naharlagun, Lekhi and Nirjuli including Tarajuli village located along the Arunachal-Assam boundary, to review the damage inflicted by the windstorm that hit the capital region on Wednesday.
Kaso interacted with the locals at all the locations, assured his support in restoration work, and extended financial support to the victims from his own source. He also appealed to the deputy commissioner to immediately process the matter of compensation as per the assessment report submitted by the administrative officers of Itanagar, Naharlagun and Banderdewa.
UD Minister Nabam Rebia also visited Karsingsa, Banderdewa and some parts of Doimukh circle which have been affected by the windstorm. He extended his support and assured support in restoration work.
Earlier, on Thursday, Rebia along with capital MLA Techi Kaso visited affected areas of their respective constituencies.
Rebia visited Banderdewa circle along with a team of officers led by Banderdewa CO Likha Yach Debia, ZPM Kipa Uruni, and IMC Councillor Tai Tassung, and inspected the affected areas.
