PANGIN, Apr 27: A team of the Siang district administration, headed by ADC Tamik Talom on Friday demolished unauthorized structures along the Pasighat-Pangin stretch of the Trans-Arunachal Highway in Kebang circle to facilitate speedy progress of the highway works.
The eviction drive was carried out after the occupants had failed to comply with the official order and several follow-up notices served to them over two years, the officials said.
The administration has cautioned that similar drives will be carried out against illegal occupants. (DIPRO)
