Several portions of the Trans-Arunachal Highway between Doimukh and Potin have remained unattended since last year’s monsoon. The stretch of road is the life line to many districts, like East Kameng, Lower Subansiri, Kurung Kumey, Kra Daadi, Kamle and Upper Subansiri. Despite repeated assurances given by authorities, no sign of restoration can be seen. Interestingly, the state BJP has its state executive meeting scheduled at Ziro, and the who’s who of the state are expected to ply through this road.
