ITANAGAR, Jun 19: The state unit of the National People’s Party Youth Front (NPPYF) conducted its first seminar-cum-awareness programme on ‘clean elections’ with the theme, ‘Mission clean vote: Say no to money culture and yes to development’, at a city hotel here on Monday.
Addressing college and university students, members of the public, and youth leaders, NPPYF state president Bage Kamsi said the campaign was a “historic crusade” against money culture in any form of election.
Papum Pare District Law Students’ Union president Teli Naga explained the importance of votes and assured his help as legal advisor, if necessary. Arunachal Cancer Welfare Society president Yomli Sora also assured his support to the campaign.
A short movie titled, ‘Elections – A Vicious Circle’ was also released by NPP state secretary Dagge Don.
