Pre-planned recruitment

Dear Editor,
I was expecting uproar against the Department of Science and Technology from Pressure Groups on the very next day of declaration of result for District Coordinators in a local dailies but it seems everyone is after their livings and in deep slumber.
The Department of Science and Technology on 25th July, 2018 declared 12 candidates selected for the post of District Coordinator on the basis of written examination held on June 17 whereas the advertisement for the 12 vacant posts of District Coordinator clearly mentioned that the recruitment process would be carried out by written examination and followed by subsequent viva voice.
And the selection of candidates for viva voice was supposed to be made on 1:3 ratio against the number of vacancies as prescribed in the advertisement.
But miraculously, the concerned department did not even conduct Viva Voice test according to its advertisement and issued notification of selected candidates for the post District Coordinator on the basis of written examination only which is a major blow to many aspirants, some of who even compromised their NET examination only to arrive at this anomalous and pre-planned recruitment.
And more surprisingly, not to question their competency, the scores of the selected candidates are also beyond expectations. One of the selected candidates scored 97 out of 100 marks in Elementary Maths paper whereas there were 4 questions that carried a wrong answer.
I wonder how on earth one can manage to score 97 just in stipulated time of 2 hrs when there was already 4 errors in the question paper itself.
‘’They must be an issue of Einstein and Shakespeare’’, a facebooker trolled the expected reality.
Nepotism and backstairs selection of candidate has been done as it is evident from the recruitment process itself. Yet again many unemployed and graduated youths of the State has lost their faith in the Departmental Recruitment Process of our state.
The propaganda of ‘Rich becoming Rich and Poor becoming Poor’ is being reflected here. In a sorry state of Departmental Recruitment Process in our State where only Money has a say, is no less than a major threat for upcoming generations. I doubt, this is why our youths of these era end up joining Unions, organizations, insurgents etc. and also sort to an unfair means of earning livelihoods.
In order to tackle with such mal-practices of recruitment in near future, i urge our so called pressure groups from various sections of society to unearth and expose those erring officers responsible for such biasness in the departmental recruitment process in the state.
Yours,
Citizen
