Dear Editor,
I would like to draw the attention of government of Arunachal Pradesh regarding the negligence of Elementary education. Most of the
Elementary school in our state is run by SSA Teachers which is the main reason behind the poor performance of students in higher classes.
It is also well known that a teacher working in insecure job will work half heartedly as most of them are searching for secured job.
Interestingly, the government pays them low salary which is much lesser than a regular government employee which is frustrating.
It is also true that most of them are political appointees which have led to degradation of education at elementary level.
Ironically, most of people blame CCE system as main reason behind degradation of education system but in reality, it was not properly implemented because the teachers appointed were untrained.
As a concerned citizen of Arunachal Pradesh, I would like to suggest the authority to recruit regular well trained Teacher with APTET and to stop the recruitment of contract Teacher in Elementary school.
