NAHARLAGUN, Jul 5: Thirteen 2017 batch APCS (EG) lateral entry officers led by Administrative Training Institute Director Pate Marik visited various centres of the Oju Welfare Association (OWA) here on Thursday as part of the officers’ induction training.
The team visited the OWA’s Women Helpline-181 centre, the legal aid clinic, the vocational training unit, the sales emporium, the Swadhar Greh, the children’s home, and the crafts centre.
Marik lauded the vision and endeavour of OWA’s founder chairperson late Binny Yanga, and commended the current chairperson, Ratan Anya, for carrying forward the organization’s vision.
