ITANAGAR, Jul 5: The All Arunachal Pradesh State Transport Service Contractors Welfare Society (AAPSTCWS) in a representation to the chief minister on Thursday urged the CM to initiate steps to ensure early transfer of the APSTS general manager, saying he has already completed his normal tenure in the department.
The AAPSTCWS said it had earlier submitted a representation to the chief secretary regarding the transfer of the GM but no action has been initiated till date as the file has not been processed.
“As per government norms, a Grade-I officer should be posted for a maximum of three years only in any department,” it said, and urged the chief minister to take urgent steps to transfer the officer and post an experienced reliever with a good track record for smooth functioning of the department.
