ITANAGAR, Jul 6: Three karatekas from Arunachal Pradesh – Bamang Yamu, Goda Asha and Mesom Singhi – will represent the country at the 15th AKF Senior Asian Karate Championship to be held at Amman, Jordan, from 10 to 14 July.
The trio will participate in team kata.
They have been selected on the basis of their gold medal-winning performances in the KAI National Senior Karate Championship which was held at Kolkata in January this year, informed the Arunachal Karate Do Association.
The team, led Shihan Tai Hipik (team coach India), will be leaving here for the championship on Saturday.
