ITANAGAR, Jul 26: Members of the state unit of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), led by its president Teli Mello Camdir, on Thursday took out a peaceful rally from Ganga market to the legislative assembly to protest against various ‘anti-people’ policies of the BJP government.
The NSUI cited failures like ‘SC/ST scholarship budget cut; rise in unemployment; anti-educational policy; non-release of scholarship money for 2017-18; commercialization of the education sector; poor Class 10 and 12 CBSE results; minimization of APST job reservation system; and poor infrastructure of government educational institutions.’
