PASIGHAT, Sep 8: Hundreds of employees from government and private educational institutions participated in a cleanliness drive initiated by the East Siang district administration here on Saturday.
DC Tamiyo Tatak had on 7 September asked government officers and heads of educational institutions to conduct cleanliness drives to beautify the township before the scheduled visit of Manipur Chief Minister Nongthombam Biren Singh and Chief Minister Pema Khandu on 10 and 11 September to attend the Solung festival celebration.
