A Girl

—– Mitu Dada

I will do as a human being gracefully.
I will do as a friend joyfully.
I will do as a sister happily.
I will do as a wife supportively.
I will do as a mother lovingly.

Stop saying, I’m a girl I have to do it or it’s a custom.

You are a boy, not by choice.
I’m a girl, not by choice.
We are human beings by nature of our birth.

The custom is an unwritten law by the people for the people.
So, be the change.

A girl has a right to live on her choice
It doesn’t mean equality should be a man can drink
A woman can drink more bottles.
I measure it in worth living.
Remember you only live once.
