I would like to bring to the attention of the concerned authority that a portion of road is slowly collapsing near the Barapani Bridge in Naharlagun. This road is the artery of the capital region and hence thousands of vehicles ply through this portion.
Any untoward incident can be avoided by taking appropriate measures swiftly. Surely, collapsing of road is an act of god but negligence on the part of the authority to maintain or repair the portion of the road even after being informed should amount to murder. Therefore, it is requested of the concerned authority to look into the matter as soon as possible.
