Dear Editor,
Kudos to APPSC for standing the ground and for not getting bogged down by unscrupulous pressure. Re-exam and extending the date of exam is not an option. Also, how can not qualified candidates be allowed to sit in the Mains- that would be a mockery of justice itself. Trying to do justice to one should not result in injustice to other.
I would request the aggrieved candidates to accept the decision, and get into some serious self-introspection and do deep soul searching and move forward in life. There are more things in life other than filing cases upon cases- without merit or substance. Already, about 3 lakhs cases are pending in our Judiciary.
In case the Aggrieved Candidates again file a writ petition. The Honourable High Court(HC) must consider the fact that APPSC has already solved the issue on its part by allocating compensatory marks. Instead of giving some ambiguous verdict, benevolent judges should check the facts and the substance provided by the commission and deliver a judgement which provides for a permanent solution.
Any decision it takes will have ramification on thousands of candidates who are seriously and tirelessly burning the midnight oil in preparation. I hope justice will be done to the most deserved and not to anyone who Urge!
Yours,
Ritalin, Guwahati
