BOYING, Oct 8: Twenty-two women beneficiaries of Boying, Yapgo, and Mongku villages received free LPG connections under the expanded Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) from local MLA Kaling Moyong in a distribution programme held here on Monday.
The programme also featured a ‘safety clinic’, during which members of Sanggo Gas Agency demonstrated how to use LPGs safely.
“The use of clean fuel and smokeless kitchen will go a long way
in reducing indoor air pollution and ensure better health of women and their families,” Moyong said.
He asked the GBs and other stakeholders to create awareness on the recently launched Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Yojana for availing quality and cashless healthcare services.
Among others, Boying village secretary Ojong Moyong, HGB O Rukbo, GBs Olik Ering and Okom Ering, and Pasighat East Mandal Committee adyaksh Obit Tamuk attended the distribution programme. (DIPRO)
