ITANAGAR, Nov 3: The Confederation of Service Associations of Arunachal Pradesh (CoSAAP) said on Saturday that it has “deferred the third phase of its indefinite non-cooperation movement from 8 November to 18 November.”
The deferment has been made in order to “facilitate the government to take a positive solution to the CoSAAP’s demands to withdraw the orders issued to deduct one-day salary and other punitive actions, and grant the tough location allowances and house rent allowances as per the rate recommended by the 7th CPC,” it stated in a release.
The movement will, however, be resumed from 19 November “if the government fails to bring positive solution to the demands,” the CoSAAP said.
It said that in the event of resumption of the non-cooperation movement, “the teaching community will continue to carry out academic classes by wearing black badges in the greater interest of the student community.”
