Itanagar, Nov 29: A team of officers from the Capital administration inspected the vending zones of Capital Complex on Nov 28-29.
During inspection, led by SDO Itanagar Sangeeta Yirang the team evicted the illegal vendors running their business outside the vending zone especially near RK Mission hospital Itanagar and also cancelled the identity cards of those who were running their business outside the vending zones.
The Deputy Commissioner Capital Complex Prince Dhawan informed that the District Adminstration has constructed temporary vending zones for the registered vendors at various locations of Capital Complex and urged the public not to encourage mushrooming of illegal vendors. He has also requested the illegal vendors to refrain from such activities otherwise action would be taken as per relevant sections of law. Itanagar is the first city in North East to implement the Street vending policy.
