Central monitoring committee meet held

ITANAGAR, Nov 29: The central monitoring committee (CMC) of NSSO of North Eastern states has asked all the defaulting states to expedite to clear the backlog sub-round and submit the filled up schedules to data processing division, Kolkata at an early date so that the national report could be released in time.
This was informed by a team of MCM of NSSO of North Eastern states during a meeting jointly organized by the National Sample Survey Office (Field Operation Division), Ministry of Statistics &Programme Implementation, Goland Directorate of Economics & Statistics, GoAP convened at a private hotel hereon Thursday.
In the meeting Additional Director Generals Harbinder Singh (NEZ) and Asit Sadhu (CPD) New Delhi had informed that from the 77th round onwards Time Use Survey would also be taken up in India including Arunachal Pradesh. They have also urged all to take full advantage of the trainings programmes so that the Field Investigators do not find any difficulties while filling up the schedules during canvassing.
The meeting was attended by representatives from Tripura, Sikkim and Manipur.
