ROING, Jan 9: Thirty members from different self help groups (SHG) of Lower Dibang Valley district are undergoing a NABARD-sponsored training on tailoring under Micro Enterprise Development Programme (MEDP), which began at the AMYAA NGO office here on Wednesday.
During the inaugural function of the training, NABARD District Development Manager Nitya Mili briefed the trainees on MEDP and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Bunkar Yojana for the benefit of rural women and SHGs, while APRB Branch Manager PB Chetry assured the trainees of bank loans to help them come up with proper business plans.
AMYAA secretary RK Paul Chawang also spoke on the occasion.
