RANGRINKAN, Feb 15: Hundreds of people from Rangrinkan, Relangkan, Longran and other villagers in Changlang district benefitted from the services provided by government departments and banking institutions during the Sarkar Aapke Dwar (SAD) camp organised here by the district administration on Friday.
DC RK Sharma, who inaugurated the camp, spoke on the importance of obtaining government documents like ST certificates, Aadhaar cards, birth certificates, PRCs, driving licence, etc, adding that opening of bank accounts is equally important to avail the benefits of government schemes.
The DC also urged the people to ensure peace and tranquility during the forthcoming elections.
Changlang North MLA Tesam Pongte urged the villagers to “compulsorily register themselves under the Chief Minister’s Arogya Arunachal Yojana.” The MLA expressed gratitude to the administration and the departments for providing their services to the doorsteps of the remote villagers.
In Lower Dibang Valley district, the administration organised a SAD camp at Abali, benefitting the people of Abali and nearby villages.
In West Siang district, SAD camp was organised at Darka village, where all the line departments and banking institutions offered their services.
DC Swetika Sachan inaugurated the camp, and urged the villagers to avail the facilities coming to their doorsteps.
The capital complex administration conducted a SAD camp at Model Village in Naharlagun on Friday, benefitting scores of people.
Naharlagun CO Neelam Teji was the camp’s nodal officer.
DC Prince Dhawan requested the people to participate in such camps which provide benefits to the citizens.
In Upper Siang district, over 500 villagers from Ramsing, Pubuk, Gosang, Moying and Dangkir benefitted from the SAD camp organised at Moying by the administration on Friday.
DC Karma Leki and the SP attended the camp and distributed umbrellas, LPG connections, solar lamps, etc, to the beneficiaries. (DIPROs)
